The G43 firig pin is made from high quality steel and heat treated to the right hardness.
The firing pin is located in the firing pin carrier and is of a free floating design, the if the trigger of the rifle is pushed backward the sear will disengage and the hammer will fall on the firing pin extension, this will transfer the force unto the firing pin and will hit the primer locates in the back of the cartridge.
If you experience a lot of misfires, several problems can be the issue, one of them can be a damaged firing pin, a damaged firing pin carrier or a firing pin extension could also be a problem.
